Peter and Miles pursue the Lizard as the hunters simultaneously attempt to capture their greatest prey yet. Miles tracks strange Hunter Drone signals throughout the city and discovers a strange list of potential targets of Kraven’s. With the location of Curt Connors secured, MJ infiltrates the hunter base in an attempt to free him, as Harry and Peter desperately attempt to buy them time. Miles assists Rio in protecting the culture and musical legacy of the city by investigating and preventing a museum robbery. Peter and Miles oversee a prisoner transfer at the R.A.F.T., but are rudely interrupted by Kraven and his forces as they seek to capture the villains for unknown purposes. ‘The Sentry,’ a four-issue limited series by Sentry co-creator Paul Jenkins and artist Christian Rosado, launches this March.

Other than that, they have one exclusive skill tree each, making for three in total. We’ll gain many abilities known from the previous games as well as some entirely new ones, unique for each character, coming in handy in combat and during stealth. Miles, for example, can attach a string of web between two specific points, letting him get above enemies and take them out quietly – even two at a time if they position themselves correctly. Marvel’s New York will naturally be hiding lots of enigmatic and rewarding secrets in its streets and skylines, but one thing which has been given a Super Hero glow-up are the suits you can unlock for Miles and Peter. Enter the addition of Brooklyn and Queens, which nearly doubles the size of the city and offers even more familiar locations that are important to both Spider-Men. Fans can expect to spot places like Brooklyn Visions Academy, Midtown High School, and Aunt May’s house, where Peter is living presently.
Ray-traced reflections quickly catch your eye in the skyscraper-filled city of Marvel’s New York as you swing along its many glass surfaces. On PS5 in 2023, Spider-Man 2 at least served as an impressive technical showcase for the hardware, and a blockbuster release in a relatively quiet release schedule. On PC in 2025, without those advantages and in a disappointingly shaky state, it’s much more difficult to recommend. The majority of the side activities wind up feeling both mechanically and narratively pointless. An electric bike race feels silly enough in a Spider-Man game, but when the stakes are just “I need someone to try out my electric bike”, it’s hard not to think Miles and Peter have more pressing stuff to be getting on with. Far NK88 of what you’re doing feels like padding from the early days of open world games—there’s more inspiration here from Crackdown than there is from GTA V.
If you still need any combat-related trophies try to pair them up with Collectibles, many of them feature enemies. Getting bronze medals in the Mysterium Challenges is enough for trophy purposes, no need to get silver or gold. All Collectibles get marked when unfogging the map, except Spider-Bots which are unmarked. But Martin Li is only seen about two times before he and Miles fight, and then he isn’t seen again until he’s redeemed and loses his powers.
